Company Mission
Fresh Collections is an independent jewelry design boutique. Our mission is to produce beautiful and inspirational handmade jewelry designs for women of all ages and lifestyles.
Each piece is handmade in our studio from conception through completion. Our designs weave special semiprecious gemstones,
precious gemstones, precious metals, beads and vintage pieces together into distinctive jewelry chosen for a woman's lifestyle.
Every design is thoughtfully crafted based on the precious metals (such as sterling silver), colors, clarity and weight
of the gemstones and also takes into account the lifestyle of the customer. Casual pieces that can be worn daily are
designed with flexible materials and gemstones that can withstand frequent use while special occasion pieces may be handmade with
more delicate gemstones.
Inspiration comes in a variety of forms and each piece in Fresh Collections is inspired by some embodiment of beauty. Whether it is a single gemstone, gorgeous color combinations found in nature, fashion or products, rich cultures from our international
travel destinations (such as Venice, Morocco or Bali) or a charming vignette. The end goal of each of our individual designs is to deliver high quality handmade jewelry to complement the women who wear our pieces.
The Designer and Founder
Creativity in any form has always been a significant element of Denise SooHoo's lifestyle. As evidenced by her chosen career path in advertising and media to her
diverse range of hobbies (beading, guitar, sewing, woodworking, glass painting, computer design, candle making and painting to name a few). After a 10 year
career working in various advertising and media agencies in New York (including successfully building a start up media agency with partners), her husband's job temporarily relocated them to London, United Kingdom where they currently reside.
The move to London presented an opportunity for Denise to pursue her true passion for jewelry design, which had been her most dedicated hobby throughout her career. Much encouragement from her husband, family and friends,
many metalsmithing and jewelry courses (from the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design), over 40 books and hundreds of jewelry pieces later, the Fresh Collections Ltd. website was launched in December 2005.
Limited Quantities
All our jewelry is handmade and limited in quantity. We do not mass produce any of our pieces. At Fresh Collections we carefully
hand pick our gemstones and beads inventory from our various wholesalers around the world. We are continuously replenishing our
inventory with new, classic and unique gemstones to provide an exciting and evolving collection for our clients. We hope you will enjoy
our handmade jewelry as much as we are passionate about creating our collections.
